Educational Requirements for Western Railway Recruitment 2023

Applicants must have completed matriculation or 10th class in the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Additionally, they should hold an ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade.

Please note that engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible to apply for these apprenticeship positions.

Age Limit for Western Railway Recruitment 2023

Applicants should have completed 15 years of age and should not exceed 24 years of age as of the closing date of application.

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC applicants, persons with disabilities, and ex-servicemen as per government guidelines.

Salary and Benefits for Western Railway Recruitment 2023

• Selected candidates engaged as apprentices will undergo a one-year training period.
• During the training period, they will be paid a stipend at the prescribed rate as per the rules governed by the concerned state governments.

Selection Process for Western Railway Recruitment 2023

The selection of eligible applicants will be based on a merit list.

The merit list will consider the percentage of marks obtained in both matriculation and ITI examinations.

If two applicants have the same marks, preference will be given to the older candidate.
