IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS Clerk exam annually to recruit candidates for clerical positions in 11 public sector banks across the country. IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification

Salary structure for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023

The minimum basic pay for an IBPS Clerk is Rs. 19,900, and the maximum is Rs. 32,024. The basic pay will be Rs. 20,900 with a yearly increment of Rs. 1,230 for the next three years, Rs. 24,590 with a yearly increment of Rs. 1,490 for the next four years, and Rs. 30,550 with a yearly increment of Rs. 1,730 for the subsequent seven years.

After five years, with other allowances, the salary can go up to Rs. 60,000. As an IBPS Clerk, the in-hand salary is around Rs. 29,450, including allowances, when you join.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023 Age Limit

For the IBPS Clerk exam, candidates must fall within the age range of 20 to 28 years. The candidate’s date of birth should be between 02.07.1995 and 01.07.2003 (inclusive of both dates).

However, there are certain age relaxations for special category candidates, as outlined below:

  1. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
  2. Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) (OBC): 3 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
  3. Persons With Disabilities (PWD): 10 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
  4. Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen: The actual period of service rendered in the defense forces plus an additional 3 years. Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST categories have an extended relaxation of 8 years. The maximum age limit for this category is 50 years.
  5. Widows, divorced women, and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried: Age concession up to 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST candidates. These age relaxations provide eligible candidates from special categories with opportunities to apply for the IBPS Clerk exam within the specified age limits.
