Educational Requirements for EMRS Recruitment 2023

Each position has specific educational requirements that candidates must fulfill. To be eligible for the position of Principal, candidates need to possess a Master’s degree in any discipline, along with a B.Ed. degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of ten years of teaching experience in a recognized educational institution. For the post of Vice-Principal, there are no specified educational qualifications required.

However, candidates with a Master’s degree and teaching experience will be given preference during the selection process. Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) are required to hold a postgraduate degree in the respective subject they wish to teach. The degree should be from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Additionally,candidates should have a B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) should have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject they wish to teach. The degree should be from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Age limit for EMRS Recruitment 2023

The age limit for direct recruits varies according to the position. For the posts of Principal and Vice-Principal, the maximum age limit is set at 50 years, with the provision for extension up to 55 years for existing EMRS employees.

Age relaxations are granted for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories and other applicable government rules. As for PGTs and TGTs, the maximum age limit for direct recruits is 40 and 35 years, respectively, with similar relaxations for EMRS employees and reserved categories.

Salary/Pay Scale for EMRS Recruitment 2023

The pay scale for each position is determined by the corresponding level in the Pay Matrix.

1. Principals hold a Group A classification with a pay level of 12, entailing a scale ranging from Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200.
2. Vice-Principals also fall under Group A but with a pay level of 10, with a scale ranging from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500.
3. PGTs and TGTs belong to Group B and carry pay levels 8 and 7, respectively, with scales ranging from Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100 for PGTs and from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 for TGTs.
